Tennis
This course facilitates students’ ability of sports-related skills at athletic levels and supports developing sports habits that continues all life long.
In this class students will acquire the following tennis techniques to demonstrate them in a game.
Basic skills: volley, stroke, smash, service, etc.
Advanced skills: playing a singles/doubles match
Social skills: communication, partnership, sportsmanship
The goal is for students to learn practical strategies, and accurately demonstrate skills within games. Therefore students learn daily exercise habits with the goal of creating the necessary tough mind and body. In addition, the aim is to cultivate the fairness and fighting spirit required of a leader, allowing students to offer assessments and accurate advice to others.

In the first class, students will choose a sport (the number of participants is limited). The course offers the group ball sport, individual ball sport, and other sports, from which students must choose.
Attendance will be taken in each class.

Students will be evaluated on their commitment (40%), skills (20%), understanding (comprehension) of rules and safety instructions (20%), and practice (20%).
