The course aims to cultivate students' practical communication skills focusing on effective writing and speaking about scientific topics. It introduces students on how to effectively communicate their research and it also introduces different ways to present scientific data into various audience.
The course is intended to complement the more extended Technical Discussion (TD) and Technical Writing (TW) classes. Some of the topics covered by Scientific Communications (SC) are introductory and some are advanced with respect to TD and TW, so that both students who have attended or will attend TD and TW can benefit from taking SC.
By the end of the course, students will be able to

-confidently and effectively connect with the audience.
-address various types of audience.
(*) In case some Master's students find it difficult to relate to regular scientific communications (having been involved in original research for a short time), in‒class exercises and homeworks referring to other types of technical communications can be assigned, upon consultation with the instructors.
An auditor in a class schedules within 30 people(in conjunction with the Master's Scientific Communication).. A taking registrant is chosen by lecturer by a case.

The class has the "write⇨speak⇨communicate" pattern, so contribution from each student is required. There will be practice of scientific reporting through writing and interaction with everyone in the class. There will also be short reading assignments and some in‒class exercises that will require reactions or opinions of the students.
