To conduct interdisciplinary research, it is essential to communicate with persons who are different specialists.
Each attendee in this course will present own research theme with PowerPoint slides. Group discussion will be held for improvement of their presentation quality.
Students will be able to do the following by taking this course.
1) explain their own research to people from other fields in a straightforward manner
2) present their own research with easy to understand slides (PowerPoint)
3) use discussions to complement their presentation.

During the first half of each class, the instructor gives an oral account of their research, does a review and explains the answers for the exercise problems from last class. In the latter half students work on exercise problems related to that day's instruction material. Students should carefully read the learning goals for each class, and prepare for and review problems. The target size of the class is 20 students or less. Therefore, students may be selected by lottery, depending on the situation.
