As a training course of the Academic Leaders Program (ALP) primarily directed at D1 and D2 students, participants will learn best practices for the creation and implementation of teaching materials and methods through class work and TA training. Participants will also be given an introduction to the Preparing Future Faculty (PFP) training program. Last, in order to improve participant’s ability to teach in English, participation in model English lectures will be offered.
We mainly target D1 and D2 students, they become able to put on a literacy necessary to education of the academic field beforehand by this lecture attendance.
For graduate students, on the basis of educational considerations, to learn about teaching best practices. Specifically, general guidance and discussions on the Code of Ethics for TAs, tutors, and other teachers, as well as, as part of the PFP preparatory education for future faculty, methods to increase teaching proficiency in English.

Students who wish to, required to be adopted as a TA. Querying the Department office. Lecture is held twice during one semester.
Note) The Part 1 & 2 and Part 3 & 4 have the same content. Therefore, course requirements are met if students attend the lecture once according to their convenience.
