Course description and aims

Ethics in Engineering Practice are based on mutual reliabilities among Engineers. Each Engineer believes to do best practice in any cases. However,to find a best practice and a best decision is not so easy. It is necessary to have many experiences and knowledges. Therefore,many present incidents and accidents are disucussed in this lesson. A virtual experience is very usuful method to make a individual philosophy for professional engineer.

Student learning outcomes

1. To be able to answer about "Risk Management" with sufficiet responsibilities.
2. To be able to recognize and address ethical issues.
3. To have an opinion concerning "Safety Management" in the future Japanese society.
