Course description and aims

This course is for students who have already completed the Intermediate Japanese 1 and 2 levels. The four-skill exercises will be conducted based on topics.

By the end of this course, students will be able to:
1) read sentences and obtain information;
2) present opinions on social issues.

Class flow

Small-group activities and presentations will be conducted in class. The instructor will share texts with students and provide in-class feedback during writing and presentation sessions. The instructor will also ensure students' learning through weekly in-class and after-class assignments, group discussion, and through information sharing with the whole class.

Assignment 20%, Written Examination 70%, Presentation 10%
In order to take the final exam, students are required to attend more than 60% of the classes and complete all the assignments.
