This course consists of lectures and exercises on Japanese. While listening to the Japanese news, students will learn how to listen to and to discuss its contents.
By the end of this course, students will be able to: 1) catch the keyword while listening, 2) understand the main points in each paragraph , 3) discuss the impressions and opinions.

Every lesson contains listening comprehension and group discussion of Japanese. The first half of the course deals with lecture and the second half treats news as a subject.

Assessment will be conducted based on student's attendance(20%), home work(30%) , small test(10%), presentation(20%), a final report(20%).
No prerequisite. Only for international students who have high intermediate level of Japanese skills.
