The aim of this course is to learn how to apply Japanese expressions and language skills which are useful when you attend a lecture at university. Specifically, students will be requested to write a short paper using data collected by themselves and present their peers.
By the end of this course, students will be able to acquire and apply the advanced skills of: 1) writing a short report, 2) using useful Japanese idiomatic expressions, and 3) reading and using essential kanji characters in kun'yomi.

After a brief explanation is provided, group discussion will be held in pairs or groups of three or so. Then, students will give a presentation about the discussion outcomes.
