This Advanced Course is primarily designed for students who have completed Basic and Intermediate Course. By reading various German texts and by combining reading and exercises, students study German grammar more deeply. At the same time the instructor links the learning of grammar to the communicative skills,
In this course students will be able to progress in German variously. In addition they will be able to deepen the knowledge of Germany.
In the end of this course, the students will be able to
1) read high-level German texts. 2) understand German grammar more structurally. 3) deepen the knowledge of Germany.

In every class students read and translate the text and then they solve exercise problems related to the text. The instructor explain the text and problems.

To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend approximately 100 minutes preparing for class and another 100 minutes reviewing class content afterwards (including assignments) for each class.
They should do so by referring to textbooks and other course material.
The instructor will indicate during class.
German-Japanese dictionary is necessary.
Students will be assessed on exercises (translate and pronounce)and test during classes.
To have completed German Basic Course and Intermediate Course is desirable.
