''French: basic course'' is intended for students who have no previous knowledge of French. Instruction will be based on the communicative approach with activities designed to develop speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. The course will also introduce students to French and Francophone cultures through various materials including audiovisual tools. ''Basic course 2'' covers fundamental verbs, pronouns and adjectives in French language.
The aim of this course is to teach students the fundamental skills of the French language, which will serve as an introduction to French and Francophone cultures.
At the end of this course, students will:
1. Improve their French pronunciation.
2. Be able to use some simple French vocabulary and expressions.
3. Understand some important basics of French grammar.

At the beginning of each lesson, the instructor explains the main points of the day, using the textbook. Students are given exercise problems and communicative activities related to what is taught on that day. Attendance is taken in every class.
