"Chinese: Basic Course" is intended for students who have no knowledge of Mandarin Chinese. The course will begin with the exercise of the Chinese Pinyin Romanization system: tones, rules of phonetic spelling, and pronunciation drill. We also learn simple conversation and basic grammar, to build up rudimentary communication ability of Chinese. As the third step, at "beginner's class 3", we will learn the past tense, the sentence structure of the adjective, the usage of the auxiliary verb. In addition, by using the supplementary materials, we will touch the cultural and social background of the China, will also to help students to have a better understanding of Chinese society and culture..
