This class is structured to improve students' skills for reading and writing by reading essays on current science topics in various fields, expanding their vocabulary, and practicing writing sentences so that they can express their own ideas in English. After learning new vocabulary, students will read the essay, understand its main idea and details, and practice reading the essay aloud. The rest of the class time will be spent on writing exercises using the expressions learned. Students will also learn about how to organize paragraphs in papers and articles.
