Course description and aims
Students will learn the basics of workshop facilitation through workshop experience, ice break facilitation practice, workshop planning and practice. We will also deepen our thinking by reading a book on designing questions and discussing it in a world café style.
The aim is to learn the basics of facilitation techniques through experience and to acquire basic knowledge of facilitation theory.

Class flow
Classes will be conducted in a workshop style.
Workshop experience: Through games and activities, students will learn by moving their minds and bodies and interacting with each other.
Ice breaking facilitation exercise: Participants break the ice for other participants and receive feedback on their facilitation.
World café: Students will read a book on designing questions and discuss it.

Out-of-Class Study Time (Preparation and Review)
To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend approximately 100 minutes preparing for class and another 100 minutes reviewing class content afterwards (including assignments) for each class.
They should do so by referring to textbooks and other course material.
