This class is about Future society from the perspective of working style. Traditional workers needed to go to their offices and factories. Thanks to the development of internet, we can work whenever and wherever. The working style has completely changed.
There are gaps, however, among regions, socio-economic status and gender. People and organizations which can utilize technology and not are totally different. In this class, we learn the diversification of the working style. Students learn about pros and cons about the changing working styles. Plus, they will discuss the new rule in the "Future of Work."
By the end of this course, students will be able to:1) Understand the change of circumstances of corporations after globalizations and spreading internet. 2) Understand the worker's rights. 3) Understand global discussion on "Future of Work." 4) Speak about technology and working style based on their own ideas.

In addition to lectures, students have opportunities to think and talk when they participate in group work and whole class. The instructor often asks many questions to students. This course encourages international students to participate in. The instructor speak in Japanese but students can talk both in Japanese and English. There are some reading materials students can read both in Japanese and English.

Three times of reading report assignment and reflection paper of based on guest lectures. Each report will be 1000-1200 words. Reading books requires several hours.

In the first class, reading assignments will be assigned.
Students knowledge, analytical skill and active participation are assessed. Mid-report 50%, participation to group work and class 30%, final report 20%.
