By reading a classic book of philosophy, students will lean how to read a book of philosophy, think philosophically and understand a philosophical concept. No prior knowledge necessary. We will probably read Hegel's "The Phenomenology of Spirit".
Students who wish to attend this seminar are required to come to my office (W9-616) on Monday April 8, at 15:05.
At the end of the course, students will be able to read and interpret a text of philosophy in an accurate manner.
