Course description and aims

We Welcom many Students form Abroad enrolled into this course(unfamiliar with Japanese-Chiese characters)!

This course deal with some legal problems that we would meet in daily life through news.
This course will help students removing some difficulty to study law because of some images of difficult. Students will aquire basic legal knowledge to avoid trouble to live as university students and adults.

Student learning outcomes

To understand some of important legal knowledge dispensable with life and protect ourselves from ilegal matter and risks.
The basic knowledge of law will be shared with Students from Abroad.

Class flow

We Welcom many Students form Abroad enrolled into this courses(unfamiliar with Japanese-Chiese characters)!
Slids will be prepared containing English. Discussion themes are not sepecified in Japan but also in each countries. This course refes the actual news in Japan and other counrties to assist understanding of basic legal knowledge. discussing with colleague to assure our understanding levels at the end of each lecture.

Class 3 What is tort? understand tort law comparing contract law
Class 4 What the purpose of consumer protection? understand consumer protection system
Class 5 labor understannd labor contracts and protection of workers
Class 6 Antitrust Law and Intellectual Property Law understand the antitrust law and intellectual property rights and protection
Class 7 Basic Justice System understand civil litigation, criminal procedure.
Class 8 discusion. Test discussing actual news referring lecture theme and sharing usful legal knowledge with each other
