Course description and aims

The standardization strategy is a strategy to create new global rules or systems which are necessary for innovations.
This course gives an overview of standardization strategies as a business strategy. The standardization is an important strategic tool for market development and competitiveness enlargement. This course provides students for basic concepts of standardization strategy, business strategies with standardization and practices of innovation with standardization.

By the end of this course, students will be able to:
1) Understand basic concepts of standardization and the importance of standardization as a business strategy.
2) Use strategically standardization for market development, competitiveness enlargement and innovation.
