The aim of this course is to help students acquire an understanding of the basic concepts and principles of qualitative research and their topics, especially, a life worth living and a sense of values. Therefore, students will read textbooks and articles on life history, have discussions, and conduct fieldwork. Students will write a final report of 5,000 words.
At the end of this course, students will be able to:
1) Obtain basic knowledge about qualitative research.
2) Conduct a small fieldwork.
3) Write a paper.

To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend approximately 100 minutes preparing for class and another 100 minutes reviewing class content afterwards (including assignments) for each class.
