Course description and aims

To work and live with different cultural background people is indispensable in this global society. In order to survive in this global age, this course introduces basic topics as intercultural communication, intercultural stress management and multiculture team with synergy.

The aim of this course is to get basic multicultural knowledge to survive global society.

Student learning outcomes

At the end of this course, students will be able to understand the following: non verbal languages, intercultural stress management, merit and demerit of multiculture team.

Class flow

After briefly introducing each discipline, Intercultural Communication, Mental health and Organizational behavior, basic topAt the beginning of each class, review of previous class will be made. In some classes, short report or discussion with students are adopted.

Class 6 International dimensions of organizational behavior. Multiculture team and creating synergy Students are able to understand the basic knowledge of multiculture team and synergy.

Out-of-Class Study Time (Preparation and Review)

To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend approximately 100 minutes preparing for class and another 100 minutes reviewing class content afterwards (including assignments) for each class.
They should do so by referring to textbooks and other course material.
