Course description and aims

The concept and structural design method of Prestressed Concrete Structures will be lectured.
Give students a broad understanding of these contents.

Student learning outcomes

At the end of this course, students will
1) understand structural detail of PC structures,
2) understand mechanical behavior of PC members under axial and bending force,
3) understand mechanical behavior of PC members under shear force,
4) understand structural design method of PC structures

Keywords

Prestressed Concrete, Creep, Relaxation, Short-term response, Long-term response, M-φrelationships

Competencies that will be developed

Specialist skills Intercultural skills Communication skills Critical thinking skills Practical and/or problem-solving skills

Class flow

Strudents have to explain about the contents of documents distributed from 2nd to 14th and answer the questions from another sturents.
