In the master's thesis research, students acquire advanced specialized knowledge and skills that expand on the specialized knowledge and skills developed in the undergraduate program, and complete a master's thesis under the guidance of each faculty member. In order to produce research results in a limited period of time, it is important to carry out research systematically and check the progress regularly. In addition, as a researcher, you are expected to be able to communicate the content of your research, including your plans and results, to others in an easy-to-understand manner.
The purpose of this course is to help students clarify their plans for conducting research for their master's thesis, report on their progress, and acquire the presentation and communication skills to discuss their own cutting-edge research through discussions with researchers in other fields.
By taking this course, students will acquire the following skills
1) To be able to plan a research project
2) To be able to give an oral presentation of their research in an easy-to-understand manner
3) To be able to explain and discuss their research in an easy-to-understand manner with researchers in other fields
