The latest examples of nanostructured materials processing are introduced, and basics necessary to understand phenomena in these processing are explained. Furthermore, the nanoscale analysis for the friction phenomena in such nanostructured field is also introduced.

This course will hold two classes a week divided as follows: [1] nanostructured material synthesis using a dry process and explanation of its fundamentals and [2] nanostructured material synthesis using a microspace field and explanation of its fundamentals, and nanotribology

The documents prepared by the instructors will be distributed.
Some documents are distributed at the time of a lecture start as needed and the class is performed a commentary using Power point. The Power point file to use in a lecture discloses it beforehand through OCW.
The evaluation of understanding degree of the students is performed through the exercise and reports submitted by them
