[Summary of the lecture] In this lecture, management of reagents and high pressure gases, fire extinguishing and administration of first aid will be explained.
[Aim of the lecture] In chemical research, correct managements of chemical reagents and high pressure gases are important for safe experiments. In case of emergency, it is necessary to respond fire rapidly and correctly. In Furthermore, the ability to perform appropriate first aid procedures is required. After this lecture and a previous lecture "Environment Preservation and Chemical Safety I", students acquire the ability to carry out chemical research safely. Enrollment of Environment Preservation and Chemical Safety I, which consists of reagent management, environmental preservation and risk management, is desirable.
By the end of this course, students acquire the following ability:
(1) Ability to manage reagents and high pressure gases
(2) Ability to extinguish fire.
(3) Ability to provide appropriate first aid.
Chemical reagent, high pressure gas, fire extinguishing, first aid
