This course focuses on the synthesis of functional polymers including pi-conjugated polymers, organometalluc polymers, and inorganic polymers. This course also facilitates students' understanding of applications of these polymers. For students at the other undergraduate majors, this course provides opportunity to learn advanced science and technology as well as fundamentals in the fields of polymer science.
At the end of this course, students will be able to:
1) explain the syntheic method and appications of pi-conjugated polymers.
2) explain the synthesis and reaction of organometalli polymers.
3) explain the features of organic-inorganic hybrid materials.
pi-Conjugated polymer, organometallic polymer, reactive polymer, inorganic polymer, organic-inorganic hybrid material, polymeric catalyst
✔ Specialist skills | Intercultural skills | Communication skills | Critical thinking skills | ✔ Practical and/or problem-solving skills |
Towards the end of class, students are given exercise problems related to what is taught on that day to solve.
