[Description] Student will do experiments and execises associated with metallurgical microstructure and properties.
[Aims] To learn fundamentals of metallugy and related experimental techniques and analysis methods. Students will also learn ethics, scientific writing, safety issues which are necessary for researcher.
[Student learning outcomes] Students will gain an understanding of the microstructure and properties of metal materials throughout the experiments. Students will also gain scientific writing skills.
[Topics] The instructor in this course will cover "ethics", "scientific writting", "data analysis" as execice topics, "high temperature creep deformation ", "difusion bonding process", and "phisical property of metal" as experiment topics.

To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend approximately 50 minutes preparing for class and another 50 minutes reviewing class content afterwards (including assignments) for each class.
They should do so by referring to textbooks and other course material.

This is the prerequisite course to take "Creativity Laboratory in Metallurgy".
Students are recommended to take a succeeding course of Creative laboratory in metallurgy (creativity lablratory in metallurgy will NOT be opened in 2021, so you do NOT have to take creativity laboratory in metallugy in 2021).
