Course description and aims

This course provides you with the opportunity to learn physics, chemistry and mechanical properties in materials science and engineering with an English textbook, and to make a presentation about what you will have learned in English. You will learn not only terminologies and English expressions of phenomena in the field but also skills to present the contents and importance of what you will have learned in an effective and fascinating manner in English. Students will study in a group of five to six and will be asked to work with your colleagues in a cooperative manner.

Class flow

Study in a group of five to six. You will read one chapter in the text. The first half of the course is to learn the contents of the text, and the second half, to prepare and give presentations.
