【abstract】 This course is placed as the advanced course of Metallurgical Engineering Laboratory I. Students will propose advanced design of previous product and realize its final form. The most valuable award is given for the student who is selected by all the students and staff related to this class.
【object】 Students will achieve ability to find and solve the problems after evaluation meeting held after the final presentation. Several students will have the opportunity to make English presentation at AOTULE after selection meeting by staff members. By attending AOTULE, intercultural communication skills will be improved through discussion with international students.
The aim of this course is to understand characteristics of metallic materials and their practical usages in daily life. By constructing structural and functional products associated with music instrument, equipment, transportation, students will experience the relationship between material selection and functionality of metal. Through this course, student will achieve originality, creativity and planning ability.
understand characteristics of metal
propose a product related to metal, e.g. equipment associated with audio, electricity, transportation, etc.
design a structure of product by schematic and exact drawings
be able to use tools for cutting and drilling
acquire creativity, communication skills and a sense of accomplishment
creativity, teamwork, product making, frame car, music box, high performance lead battery, fuel cell
