Course description and aims

In this course, each student gives a talk on various topics such as his/her research, future plans, the culture or nature of the home country in English. The student must prepare the presentation considering that the scientific and cultural backgrounds of the audience is different. The aim of this course is to give students opportunities to understand one another through the communication.

Student learning outcomes

The student will enhance his/her skills to give a presentation in English and will be able to have the mutual understanding with students from other countries.

Class flow

The students give an approx. 15min talks and answer the questions from the audience. The students also take part in as the audience.
