Course description and aims

This course opens for students in the third semester of their master program. In this course, an interim presentation of individual students is scheduled to obtain and enhance skills in presentation and discussion of master thesis research. The presentation is given in English and it needs to include research backgrounds, objectives, method, progress of research, and future plan. Discussion is done either in Japanese or English.

Student learning outcomes

By the end of this course, students will be able to:
1) make a presentation of master thesis research in English as logical as possible, with the use of presentation materials (slides),
2) obtain the method for making a better presentation and well-structured presentation meterials for audience with a variety of speciaities.
3) obtain the ability to properly responde the questions from the audience.
