Course description and aims

[Course outline] Students will complete internships at companies and research institutes for the development of element technology and process design, which utilize knowledge in chemical engineering, afterwards giving a report through a presentation.
[Course goals]
Through internships at companies and research institutes, students will utilize what they learned about chemical engineering to work on the development of element technology and process design. Students will thus deepen their understanding of chemical engineering expertise, as well as developing communication, implementation, and problem solving skills.

[Objectives] By taking this course, students will:
1) Improve their skills that utilize knowledge from chemical engineering for the development of element technology and factory design related to chemical engineering.
2) Through discussions with researchers from universities and companies, students will improve their communication skills, implementation skills, and problem solving skills.

Students are evaluated based on reports given by way of presentation on their internships in companies and research institutes.
