Course description and aims

This course aims to give the students opportunitites to summarize and review the previous scientific history in the field of the research conducted by the students. The students are expected to have the ability to overview materials science and collect data, information etc from the literatures, and understand them systematically.

Student learning outcomes

Make a full review of the research conducted in the master course, and place their own research issue innthe whole.
Have higher skills to make the presentation for practical attendence of the meeting or conference of the sicientific societies

Group works in the laboratory are held regularly or nonregular discussion with the superviors or staffs are also held.

Class 1 This is done personally or by group work. The review is summerized in the document form, and also presented to all the member of the laoratory to share the knowledge and discuss them. The presentation for the master corse research is presented with the stress on the placement of their own research in the whole of the research field. Make a full review in document form, and present. Make the presentation slides including the placement of the present work in the whole.

Assessment criteria and methods

Supervisors evaluate the potentials of the students on the abilities of summarizing the information to review the resarch from the documents and the attitude in the group work or the presentation.
