Course description and aims

This course aims to give the master course student to grow and master the potentials for systematic understanding of the knowkledge on materilas science and their application.
It also expect to train the student to have higher skills for the scientific presentation and leaderships to solve the problems or issures in group work.

Student learning outcomes

Have the ability on the systematic understanding of knowledge taken from the lectures on materials science.
Have the ability to propose solutions for problems or issues in the research using mastered knowledge on materials science
Improve skills for explanation, writing and presentation.

Class flow

Goup works in which the students have discussion on the solution of the given problems or issues on science, engineering, or social matters.
Poster presentation is held for all the stuidents to show their own research progress.

Class 1 Group works are held to improve the potential to find and solve the problems or issues. Poster sessions are held for all the mster-course students. Studenst and supervisors join and discuss. Join the group work to solve the given problems or issures. Through the discussion, the students are requested to propose the idea to solve the problems and summarize them to present. Join the poster session to present their oown research progress.

Assessment criteria and methods

Supervisors evaluate the potentials of the students on the abilities of leading the discussion, neutrality, activity in group work. For the poster session, the abilities on the explanation and discussion to the given questions are evaluated.
