This course facilitates students’ understanding of modern techniques on spectroscopy. Techniques include several types of spectroscopy such as FT-IR, UV-Vis absorption and fluorescence, mass spectrometry, electron spin resonance, Raman spectroscopy.
Students will have the chance to tackle practical problems by applying knowledge acquired through this course.
By the end of this course, students will have deep understanding of how modern techniques work in experiments on physical chemistry and gain their ability for applying modern experimental techniques to the research.
FT-IR, UV-Vis, ESR, Mass spectrometer, UPS, Raman spectroscopy
