This course studies modeling of real problems in operations research. Students exercise on real problems by using modeling language. In the final group work, they need to find a real problem, which can be solved by applying operations research, and they give a oral presentation of the results.
By the end of this course, students will:
1. Have acquired fundamental skills of modeling
2. Be able to write simple programs for modeling language.
