Course description and aims

This course focuses on the information technology, the system operation, the legal system which need building of informative communication society, and how it's developed the actual IT project a government conducts. The course topics are encryption technology, network security, information technology and ICT policy in our country and so on.
This course facilitates students’ understanding of how ICT technologies has been used in the real world and the growth of a telecommunications engineer in the ICT field.

Student learning outcomes

By the end of this course, students will be able to:
1) Acquire knowledge related to the information systems systematically.
2) Understand the practical use and application of the social information sysytem and future issues.

Assessment criteria and methods

Students will be assessed on their understanding of the medical information systems, the current situation and the present issues of healthcare IT.
Students’ course scores are based on class reports (50%) and final report (50%).
