The student conducts research on a theme determined through discussions with his/her academic supervisor. The student gets a deep understanding of his/her research theme by reading related literature, and associated problems are defined and solved through research activities and discussions. While conducting research, student will learn how to solve problems using specialized knowledge gained in own field and the basic knowledge of other related fields acquired in various courses.
Finally, the student writes a technical report of advanced independent research project and makes a presentation based on the obtained results.
By the end of this course, the student will be able to:
1. Apply knowledge of information and communications engineering and other fields to solve problems in the research.
2.Find problems in the field of information and communications engineering, and determine their influence and the impact of problem solving on society.
3. Explain the concepts of research logically, discuss them, and summarize them in writing and presentation.
4. Submit a technical report and give a presentation. (Select 5c or 6c depending on research period and content)
