Course description and aims

This course conducts explanation own research to the other students, hearing and discussion with other students.
This course aims to increase the depth of professional abilities, presentation skills, and communication abilities.

Class flow

Students should explain own research to the other students, hearing and discussion with other students on the colloquiums.
The presentation is held at either Ookayama or Suzukakedai Campus.

Class 1 One-day presentation is held. (Half day in the afternoon depending on the number of students) Presentation schedule is arranged among attendee and their supervisors and is decide in early May. Explain your research topic to audiences in other fields in an easy-to-understand manner.

Speakers: Upload your presentation file (PDF) to the shared folder by 3 pm on one day ahead of your presentation. (You need not add unreleased data to the uploaded file.)
All students: Bring presentation files (printed out before a session by yourself) if you need.

Assessment criteria and methods

The evaluation of presentation and attendance will weigh heavily in grade calculations.
Determined by academic supervisors, depending on the student outcomes 1) to 4).
