The principal subject is a research activity at universities or research agencies in a foreign country. Any established programs in which credits and/or a degree are offered are not the subject of this course. The content of the research activity must be appropriate as a part of the curriculum of Mechanical Engineering. Both planning and reporting are required as a part of this course. The duration of the research activity is normally one week in this course.
The aims of this course are
(1) to extend or develop the research topic working under the supervisor, and/or
(2) to gain experience and to expand one’s view as a researcher by working on a research topic which is different from the research topic working under the supervisor.
