Students read literature related to their own research projects and introduce the contents to others in the laboratory. Students also present the progress of their research projects. Students also listen to the literature introduction and presentation on research projects by others in the laboratory and discuss the contents.
This course aims at obtaining the ability to read and understand literature written in English, to present the contents as well as the progress of their own research projects, and to discuss them with others.
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
1. read and understand literature written in English, and critically discuss the contents with others.
2. understand and discuss the contents of literature introduced by others.
3. present the background, aims, results, and discussion of their own research projects.
4. understand and discuss others' presentation on their research projects.

Classes are held in the academic supervisor's laboratory, and the course schedule is determined by the academic supervisor. In some cases, multiple laboratories may choose to hold classes jointly.
