This two-quarter long course is designed to give students basic knowledge in their field through reading of academic papers and discussions.
This course facilitates students' understanding of the research process with opportunities to read academic papers.
At the end of this course, students will be able to:
1) Prepare an overview of previously conducted research, identify issues, and propose a solution.
2) Acquire the oral competence necessary to make presentations in Japanese and/or English, articulate views/ideas/findings, etc., and debate effectively.
