The student will learn how they understand and consider the biological events in living cells in terms of organic chemistry. To do so, the student will learn structures and functions of DNA, RNA, proteins, glycans, lipids based on organic chemistry. Particularly, the student will learn how low molecular weight compounds interact with the biomolecules resulting in better understanding of the biological events.
