Students are generally sent overseas for two weeks or more to learn about the latest research and international research trends through participation in programs intended to impart students with research skills, held at an overseas university or research institute.
Through this experience, students will develop an international perspective and sensibility by competing with participating overseas students.
Students will learn the newest research and international research trends. For example, students will be taught the newest research methods by overseas researchers participating in summer schools organized by overseas universities and research institutes.

Students will create a study plan for overseas, and complete the stipulated applications. Their destination will be decided based on a review of the content of the submitted application. During their assignment, students will not only listen to lectures, but also actively debate their dissertation with other students. After returning, students will create a report on the content of what they learned abroad.

To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend approximately 100 minutes preparing for class and another 100 minutes reviewing class content afterwards (including assignments) for each class.
