Participation in joint research and/or internship programs offered by companies, universities and others is the primary focus of this program. Students acquire new knowledge and skills from experience outside the university and learn to use the knowledge and skills acquired at the university. Students also gain new knowledge and approaches to research in other universities or in other fields.
One or all of the following is the goal.
(1) To acquire knowledge and abilities that are difficult to obtain in the university.
(2) To learn by experience how to utilize the knowledge and abilities acquired in the university.
(3) To acquire new knowledge and research approaches in other fields and at other universities.

The students will consult with the companies participating in the consortium to determine the destination. Prior to conducting collaborative research, permission must be obtained from the Tokyo Tech Academy of Energy and Informatics Program by submitting a written plan. Once the joint research has been carried out, a report or presentation of the results must be made.
