Course description and aims

Perform an off-campus project as an intern at companies or institutes of the Super Smart Society Promotion consortium.

Student learning outcomes

Students will gain first-hand experience on the knowledge and skills required in the super-smart society through internships at companies or institutes.

Class flow

After consulting with your academic supervisor, submit an internship plan, in principle at least one month prior to the internship. After completion of the internship, please submit an internship report. (Submitted to: Office, Tokyo Tech Academy for Super Smart Society(WISE-SSS))
Credit will be approved by WISE-SSS based on the report, and your academic supervisor will grade it.

Out-of-Class Study Time (Preparation and Review)

To enhance effective learning, students are encouraged to spend a certain length of time outside of class on preparation and review (including for assignments), as specified by the Tokyo Institute of Technology Rules on Undergraduate Learning (東京工業大学学修規程) and the Tokyo Institute of Technology Rules on Graduate Learning (東京工業大学大学院学修規程), for each class.
They should do so by referring to textbooks and other course material.
