This course addresses research issues related to materials and information in the design of functional materials and optimization of manufacturing processes in companies, and is essential for research and development by experiencing research actually performed in companies. This course aim to develop problem solving skills and communication skills.
The purpose of this course will be to acquire the ability to solve problems on research and development by understanding the technical background of a given problem, using modeling and simulation of phenomena, and information processing technology in solving essential problems required by companies.
materials and informatics; modeling; computer simulation; material design
Specialist skills | Intercultural skills | ✔ Communication skills | ✔ Critical thinking skills | ✔ Practical and/or problem-solving skills |
Students will stay for about 6 weeks in the company, participate in research and development of documents using data analysis, data processing and simulation with company employees, propose solutions, and give a final presentation.
