The aim of this course is to help students acquire an understanding of the basic concepts and principles of religious studies and their topics, especially, religiosity and spirituality. Therefore, students will read textbooks on modern religions, have discussions and conduct fieldwork.
At the end of this course, students will be able to:
1) Obtain basic knowledge about contemporary religions and their function in society.
2) Explain spirituality.
3) Express their views on religion.

Students will read a textbook on religious studies, religious narratives, and biography. And fieldwork is also to be conducted in class.
