This course mainly focuses on basic and communication skills that are necessary for creation of innovation related to environmental energy. Discussion among students of the energy course with different backgrounds helps to promote diverse perspectives necessary for creation of innovation in research. Through this course, students are expected to develop a clear understanding of research and its relation with global society. Specifically, each student develops a research initiative for energy innovation and perform a poster presentation at the end of the course. Through discussion with students and professors from different fields, students are expected to develop skills necessary to logically construct and present their own understanding of research topics. This course will help students to develop effective communication and intellectual exchanges of research topics in the future.
Through the energy innovation co-creative project course students are expected to acquire the following abilities to:
1) Understand objectives and trends of research in the environmental energy field.
2) Logically construct and present their own understanding of research topics.
3) Use expertise as basic knowledge for understanding contents of other fields related to energy, and also be able to examine and make suggestions according to their understanding of research topics.

Students are divided into groups according to their own choice. Research initiative for energy innovation is developed through discussion and literature search with students with different backgrounds. Students are expected to learn objectives of environmental energy and its relation with global society through class activity. At the end of the course, each student will perform a poster presentation on the research initiative for discussion with students and professors of other research fields.
