Course description and aims

This course aims to enhance perceptibility spatial form. Descriptive geometry is a branch of learning to solve geometrical problem by rational transformation of shape on the sheet without any numerical expression.

The course is based on the third angle projection method. The students will understand descriptive geometry by solving geometric problems

Student learning outcomes

This course is carried out after Descriptive Geometry・Graphic Science1. The students will enhance perceptibility of spacial form by solving typical problems about descriptive geometry.

Keywords

Intersection of surfaces, isometric drawing, oblique axonometric projection, perspective projection, development of a solid surface

Competencies that will be developed

Specialist skills Intercultural skills Communication skills Critical thinking skills Practical and/or problem-solving skills

Class flow

The corresponding exercise problems are given in the next class after the each lecture.
