Course description and aims

Through lectures, information/data collection, intercultural group work, students will
1) Deepen the knowledge and understanding about social implementation of xR technology for solving social issues, and
2) Proceed with intercultural co-learning.

Student learning outcomes

1) To understand trend of xR technology and social implementation in new normal society connecting with cultural / social background and social issues.
2) To develop global awareness and mutual understanding and equip with skills necessary for intercultural co-learning.
3) To acquire analytical skills and critical thinking
4) To understand social requirement and develop ability of finding solution through making proposal idea of social implementation of xR technology in new normal society with diversified and intercultural perspective.

1) Lectures, making introduction movie, ice-breaking groupwork
2) Researching about xR implementation in home country and sharing it among intercultural group, identifying features, similarities, and differences in each country
3) Dividing into intercultural group based on interest, and setting common xR technical field
4) Based on understanding backgrounds of home country, incorporating different countries’ perspectives through on/off class group work, and making proposal idea for social implementation of xR technology that is localized and customized for the new normal society
5) Presenting proposal idea and making report on 4) with group members
