Course description and aims

This course consists of practice of necessary physical exercise and understanding of the theory for physical fitness.
This class aims to enrich your health and physical fitness through a online class using Zoom. The guidance will be held at the first class, and the more detail information will be provided on how to conduct this class.

Student learning outcomes

Goals of this course are:
(1) understanding the significance and importance of sport activities,
(2) developing your exercise habits,
(3) understanding cultural background of sports
(4) learning sports manners and rules

Course schedule/Required learning

Class 1 Guidance, and "Relation of exercise and health", and Introduce of a towel stretch. Practice of towel stretch
Class 2 Exercise under hot environment. Practice of walking or Joging
Class 3 Correct posture and stretch Practice of self-check and stretch
Class 4 Core stability Practice of variaous exerceses
Class 5 Functional anatomy of upper limb, lower limb and trunk. Resistance training squat / push up / sit up
Class 6 Biomechanical analysis of squat, push up, and sit up training. Resistance training squat / push up / sit up
Class 7 Reaction time, cooperation of a reflective nerve, a balance of arm and hand of space recognition, concentration, the position and influence, a hand and an eye, rhythm and timing as well as coordination movement, such as, a wide skill trains. Coordination training (Juggling/juggling by a soccer ball/ / juggle with a golf club)

Assessment criteria and methods

Students will be assessed by the commitment sore, the practice score, the understanding (comprehension) score, and the task (homework) score.
